Hi!
My name is Giacomo Altamira, and I’ve been a professional photographer for almost 20 years. I was born in Sardinia and have always lived in Olbia, near the Costa Smeralda.
These days, I mainly work as an interior and architectural photographer for hotels, vacation rentals, real estate agencies, and professionals.
For 13 years, I also photographed weddings, until my body finally said “enough” to those endless days. Now, I only take on few short, intimate ceremonies, usually on the beach, often for international couples who choose my island to get married.
And it was actually the beach that gave me the idea for this project. I asked myself: why not offer the chance to have beautiful, unforgettable photos, even for those who aren’t getting married?
This project is for anyone — couples, families, or solo travelers — who choose Sardinia as their holiday destination and want to take home a memory that goes beyond the usual quick “selfie” to post on social media.
My style isn’t posed or stiff like a fashion shoot; it’s natural and spontaneous. I love warm light, capturing intimate moments between people, and making the most of the beautiful surroundings.
My goal is to give you an experience that becomes an unforgettable memory of your happiest days in Sardinia.
